Volunteer with Lupus UK!
We highly value the work of our volunteers to help support lupus community members.
With the assistance of our volunteer team we can reach more people in more ways at times and locations which suit them best.
We have a number of volunteer opportunities which we recruit for, some opportunities are open for a rolling recruitment and other opportunities are advertised when there are vacancies. If the role you are interested in is not currently advertised, please do keep checking back.
Support and Information Line (SaIL) Volunteer
If you have a good listening ear, a keen interest in working with the lupus community, and are able to offer a few hours a week or fortnight to support our growing numbers, details can be found by clicking the button below:
Support Group Lead
We welcome interest from any person with lupus whom would like to start a face to face support group in their area. We will consider any application for an area not currently covered or near to an existing support group.

We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone interested in setting up a group in: Northern Ireland, North or West Wales, North, West or South Scotland, South London, Newcastle, Liverpool, Nottingham/ Derby, Somerset.
Support Group Assistant
Periodically our existing groups require assistants to help support them to deliver the groups. This person helps with organising the day and communicating with participants. Details of the role can be found by clicking the button below.
