In recent months, LUPUS UK has received a growing number of reports from lupus patients unable to obtain SunSense SPF50+ products via their NHS prescription. On Friday, 19th of August, it was confirmed that all SunSense SPF50+ products will be unavailable indefinitely. 

Patients who receive SunSense SPF50+ products on prescription are advised to consult their doctor for a suitable replacement. Currently, the following Uvistat sunscreens are available on prescription to anyone who suffers from light sensitivity (including all lupus patients):
