A research team from the University of Nottingham want to understand the experiences of people who have an autoimmune disease and have tried a ketogenic, carnivore or other very-low carb diet. This includes how people implement these diets, and if they report changes in their symptoms and general health.

The findings will help to improve the knowledge and understanding of how people carry out these diets in the real world (i.e. not in scientific studies). It will also add to the evidence of whether or not these diets are effective for autoimmune diseases.
