Would you like to take part in a study exploring your reasons for and experiences of attending A&E for help with your persistent pain?

 When: Interviews will take place during August 2026

What’s involved: 

  • Attend one online interview for 30 to 45 minutes 
  • Talk about your experience of attending A&E for your persistent pain treatment 
  • Participation in this study is completely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time without any consequences 

 

 Who: 

  • Adults aged 18 and over 
  • Anyone living with persistent pain for more than 3 months 
  • Attended A&E in the UK in the last 5 years for a flare-up of persistent pain (non-cancer related) 

 

Payment & Expenses: Not provided 

 Feedback: Once the final report is ready, the research team can email it to participants
