The aim of this study is to:
- Explore eating behaviours in people with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)
- Learn about the different factors that may impact these experiences
Living with SLE can affect physical health, emotional wellbeing, and body image. Treatments for SLE may also affect weight, shape, and appearance. For some people, this may lead to changes in eating behaviours. This study also explores these points within the wider experience of living with lupus.
By learning more about what causes these experiences, this study hopes to:
- Improve support for people with SLE, both during treatment and in daily life
- Guide future research
- Guide the development of supportive resources and interventions
