Thank you, TCS London Marathon runners!

Thank you, TCS London Marathon runners!

We are immensely proud of and grateful to our incredible team of runners who participated in the TCS London Marathon 2024. With your amazing fundraising efforts, we are set to receive a whopping £100,000! Thank you!

On Sunday 21st April, 60 LUPUS UK runners took on the challenge to run 26.2 miles through London, starting at Greenwich Park then crossing the finish line at St James Park after passing through some stunning London landmarks. The support from the crowd was phenomenal, with spectators cheering and encouraging all runners every step of the way. We were so pleased to have met some of our runners at our cheer stand, which was located at mile 22.

One of our runners, Lucy Hardy, was joined by her friends and family who created some wonderful banners to cheer her on. She ran for her best friend Jasmine Guerrero who has lupus and raised over £1200 for us! Congratulations Lucy, for finishing with a time of 5:11:31!

Marathon reception

On Friday 19th April, we held a pre marathon reception for our runners, which took place at The Grind (Liverpool Street). It was wonderful to meet those who attended!
