Following the very sad, recent passing of our Chair, Elaine Holland, the Board has elected Ricky Chotai as the new Chair of Lupus UK.
Ricky has been on the Board for four years, most recently as Vice Chair and Acting Chair. Ricky has supported Elaine, the Board and the organisation through this very difficult period. The Board recognised Ricky’s thoughtful, inclusive and effective leadership and his deep dedication to and passion for Lupus UK.
There are a number of trustee roles to be filled over the coming year, including Vice Chair. Fiona Browne, Chair of the People and Resources Committee will be Chair’s Support/ Acting Vice Chair in the interim.
The Board are carrying out a skills audit over the coming months and will then advertise for the roles and skills required. Roles will be shared via our social media, e-newsletters and website.
