We hope you will join us in extending a very warm welcome to our new Finance and Resource Manager, Lucy. Lucy joined us in January and brings over 20 years of experience working with charities. We are so pleased to have Lucy on the team! Read Lucy’s statement below:
“I am excited to be part of the lupus team and have already enjoyed getting to know everyone and enjoyed visiting a support group in the North East to meet the members. I have taken over from Chris, Lupus UK Finance Manager who retired in March. Chris’s dedication has been invaluable to the charity over the years, I know he’ll be greatly missed and I want to thank him for ensuring a smooth handover.
I have worked with charities for over 20 years, supporting them in managing finances, reporting, and financial planning. My passion lies in helping charities build strong financial foundations so they can focus on delivering their vital work. I love working closely with teams to make financial information clear and accessible, empowering charities to make confident decisions about their future.
Outside of work, I enjoy getting outdoors and exploring new places, whether it’s a walk up hills in the countryside or a trip to the coast and I am looking forward to taking part in the Walk for Lupus UK interactive virtual challenge later this year. I am really looking forward to working alongside the team and contributing to the important work that Lupus UK does to support people living with lupus.”
